Feel the Beat

Counting kicks is a great way to bond with your baby, even for partners and siblings. The Feel the Beat Campaign follows expectant parents Clara and Jaden, who make a tradition of dancing with their daughter and counting her kicks. Watch to see what happens when Clara notices a change in their baby’s movement.

You can help us make kick counting a common practice for all expectant parents by sharing this video and the free Count the Kicks app with the people you love.

Racial Disparities in Stillbirth

Black women are more than twice as likely to lose their babies to stillbirth than white women. Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander women also face a 2x greater risk of experiencing stillbirth. The CDC estimates that more than 21,000 babies in the U.S. are born still each year. A disproportionate number of those babies are born still to Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, Black, and American Indian or Alaska Native families.
