Get Involved
We are grateful for your interest in volunteering with Count the Kicks. We rely on the help of volunteers to support our mission to prevent stillbirths! Please review the volunteer roles below, then fill out the form to receive more information on volunteer opportunities.
Volunteer Roles
General Volunteer- General volunteers help with projects like call campaigns to providers, creating or cleaning spreadsheets, assisting at events in Central Iowa, or participating email or call campaigns to state and federal legislators. This group of volunteers will be contacted about opportunities from staff as projects or events arise, and can choose to respond to a request based on your interest and availability for the opportunity.
Community Advocate- These volunteers focus on raising awareness about Count the Kicks within their own community. These volunteers connect with us as they desire and may choose to become trained on Count the Kicks so they can share education and awareness in their daily lives and communities as opportunity allows. Community advocates are not committed to the same level of engagement as those in the Ambassador program.
Count the Kicks Ambassador- Ambassadors are high-level, trained volunteers that regularly and consistently engage with our organization and with fellow Ambassadors through monthly meetings and involvement in a large variety of important activities to support our mission to save babies. If this position interests you, a full role description can be shared prior to holding a required phone call with our Director of Advocacy & Engagement to further explore this partnership.
Please note: There is currently a waitlist as we evaluate the ambassador program and focus on effectively serving our current team. Please let us know if you would like to be added. We do look forward to further connecting with you in the coming months.
