Dr. Grosel was made aware of Count The Kicks from the UHC’s Quality Director and immediately was on board with the program.
“I love the mission of Count The Kicks and the team behind the name is fantastic. After I saw the consistent success they had in Iowa, I fought to have Ohio become a part of their mission. Although Count the Kicks is established for pregnant women of all races, there is a frightening disparity of stillbirths in women of color. We need to combat this. The Count the Kicks App puts you, the mom, in the driver’s seat. Its ease of use and likeability are the reasons the program is so successful.”Back to Team
