Gina Cunningham is Partner and Chief Operating Officer at McGill Junge Wealth Management (MJWM), where she leads firm operations, human resources, management reporting, and partners with leadership on strategic planning and execution. Before joining MJWM in 2021, Gina spent over 15 years in various finance and operational roles including investment accounting, investment operations, treasury and financial analysis and reporting throughout the insurance and investment industry.  Gina has a passion for leadership and development as well as optimizing processes to enable teams to focus on areas with the most value add. 

Gina has been an active volunteer and advocate for Healthy Birth Day, Inc., the creator of the Count the Kicks campaign, since 2022 and joined the Board of Directors in May 2026. Her family’s commitment to the organization is deeply personal following the loss of their son, Declan, in 2014. In the years since, Gina and her family have found purpose in supporting efforts that raise awareness and help prevent stillbirth, with the hope that other families never have to experience that same loss. She is passionate about advancing education, especially to those most vulnerable, and expanding the reach of Count the Kicks to save lives.

Gina earned her undergraduate degree in accounting from Iowa State University and her MBA from the University of Iowa’s Tippie School of Management. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She lives in Perry, Iowa, with her husband, Danny, and they have two grown daughters, Skylar and Eliza.
