Having worked with Janet, it came as a shock to learn of her family’s loss. That shock was followed by awe for the Healthy Birth Day founders—women determined to prevent others from suffering a similar fate. From there, I simply wanted to help in some small way. And that wish was granted when I had the opportunity to help develop the Count the Kicks awareness campaign. I am an advocate of kick counting and my passion for getting the word out grows with every baby save story.
