Madeline Habhab joined Healthy Birth Day Inc., and the Count the Kicks program in July of 2024 as the State Expansion Coordinator responsible for inventory. She attended Iowa State University focusing on Family and Consumer Science, and Business. While in school she started her 7-year journey as a professional in the insurance industry, working for a few large insurance companies in Des Moines.
During her time in insurance, she volunteered for animal rescues as a foster. She was responsible for providing a safe environment and finding a forever home for each adoption. She has rescued over 20 dogs and cats and does not plan on stopping anytime soon.
In her career she received the opportunity to volunteer for Healthy Birth Day Inc. while pregnant with her son Alva, and was blown away by their history and mission. In her third trimester she used the Count the Kicks app regularly and was thankful for the reassurance and tools it provided. She realized her passion for saving lives did not have to stop with animals and decided to start a new adventure. “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” — Mahatma Gandhi
Madeline and her fiancée are proud new parents to their son Alva. They also share several pets they have rescued and adore. She enjoys listening to music, cooking, watching movies, binging a good show, and spending time with her friends and family.
