As the Director of Corporate Partnerships for Healthy Birth Day, Inc., Rachael Muhs engages corporate sponsors to support organizational initiatives and events, including the annual Changemakers Luncheon, the Maternal Child Health Symposium, Every Kick Counts, GameChangers, and Giving Tuesday. She also oversees sponsorship opportunities for the Count the Kicks app, community baby showers, and national and local webinars. Rachael is a graduate of Buena Vista University with a Bachelor of Science.

Prior to joining the Healthy Birth Day team, she served as LifeServe Blood Center’s Technical Services Supervisor where she focused on maintaining and supporting positive partnerships with hospitals through customer engagement and education initiatives to improve transfusion practices, while also growing their service region through the addition of 50 new hospital partners in five years. Having found her niche in fostering community and corporate relationships that support the initiatives of nonprofits, Rachael is excited to bring these skills to her role at Healthy Birth Day, Inc.

As a mom who experienced multiple pregnancy losses, Rachael is grateful for the role her work plays in supporting the mission, promoting stillbirth prevention programs and enhancing the growing reach of Healthy Birth Day, Inc. Every baby saved counts!

At home, she is busy adventuring with her husband and three kids who love to explore outside, tend to their backyard chickens, and go camping. She is also an avid quilter and seamstress that constructs her kids’ full wardrobes, including their requested (and sometimes challenging) Halloween costumes each year.
