Suzanne Downs joined Healthy Birth Day, Inc. and Count the Kicks in March 2022 as Bookkeeper, and took the role of Finance Manager in January 2024. She is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Finance.
Suzanne has a diverse work background in the financial accounting services sector. For the last 16 years her focus has been to provide full-service bookkeeping services; 12 years of that specifically for nonprofit organizations. Suzanne has worked with a variety of nonprofits, but her passion is partnering with nonprofits whose missions support women, children, and families.
Suzanne is a longtime supporter of Healthy Birth Day, Inc. and Count the Kicks and is so inspired by their work and dedication to the prevention of stillbirth. She is extremely grateful for the opportunity to use her skills alongside such a passionate group of women on a cause so important as saving the lives of babies.
