My name is Via Klein and I am honored to be a Count the Kicks Ambassador in California. On July 18, 2024, at almost 34 weeks old, our precious baby Victor Elliott gained his wings too soon. After the loss of our child, the questions were endless and the answers were scarce.
It was then I came across Healthy Birth Day, Inc. and Count the Kicks. Kick counting was mentioned briefly during our prenatal appointments, but the information and importance varied between providers. By becoming an ambassador, my goal is to support the standardization of kick counting education for new parents. My providers did the best they could and were very compassionate. I also volunteer at the hospital where Victor was born as thanks.
My life’s passion is to now pay the kindness I was shown forward and to help prevent new parents from experiencing the same tragedy my husband and I went through. I am so excited to be a part of the Count the Kicks family!
