Meet Harper
- Baby Saves
Meet Harper, our Count the Kicks “Supergirl” from Oklahoma. Her mom writes:
“I had a fairly normal pregnancy except with extreme morning sickness. At 38 weeks I wasn’t feeling well and had decreased movement so I went to the OB unit and received a non-stress test and everything was fine!”
But Harper’s mom continued to Count the Kicks. In the days that followed she realized she wasn’t feeling any movement at all so she returned to the hospital.
“Within 10 minutes I was being prepped for an emergency c-section. My baby was born blue with an apgar of 2, but she still had a heartbeat! She was flown to the closest hospital with a level 1 NICU where she spent two weeks.
She’s beautiful and thriving now, but if I wouldn’t have been counting the kicks, my baby girl wouldn’t be here today!”
