We have laser vision for the future: To save 7,500 babies every year in the U.S.
According to the CDC, we lose an average of 21,219 babies to stillbirth every year in America. Statistically, that means 1 out of every 177 pregnancies ends in stillbirth.
Stillbirth is a national public health crisis that is rarely talked about. Recent data shows the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on placentas and babies.
In the first 10 years of our campaign in Iowa, the state’s stillbirth rate decreased nearly 32%. We want to achieve the same success in all 50 states, which would save 7,500 babies every year.
Can you imagine a world where we are losing 7,500 fewer babies each year? We can, and it’s because of people like you.
YOU can be a part of our mission to make kick counting a common practice by telling others about Count the Kicks and asking expectant parents to download our free kick counting app in the third trimester of pregnancy.
