Katelynn Durbin brings a unique perspective to Healthy Birth Day, Inc. as an Administrative Assistant. Originally from Oklahoma, she fell in love with Iowa during a visit and moved here in 2017. With a strong background in strategic communications and photography, she has always been drawn to the power of storytelling and its impact on others.
Her journey led her to nonprofit work, where she discovered her true calling. As an administrative assistant, she finds immense fulfillment in the diverse array of tasks and projects that come her way. Every day, she eagerly seizes new opportunities to lend her support to various departments and programs, knowing that each effort plays a vital role in advancing our mission.
Joining the team at Healthy Birth Day, Inc. felt like a natural fit for Katelynn. She is deeply passionate about supporting organizations that make a tangible difference in people’s lives, and the work we do here is nothing short of life-saving. She considers it a privilege to be part of a team dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of mothers and infants.
Katelynn’s personal connection to the mission of Healthy Birth Day, Inc. runs deep. She vividly remembers using Count the Kicks with her son, Cadyn, long before the app was available. Though he arrived earlier than expected, thanks to the knowledge and tools provided by Count the Kicks and her incredible doctor, he’s now a thriving 13-year-old. Contributing to an organization that played a role in her family’s journey is incredibly meaningful to her.
