The link between fetal movement and a healthy baby is clear. Research continues to uncover more about the importance of monitoring a baby’s movements. Count the Kicks uses the latest research to help achieve our mission of improving birth outcomes for moms and babies.

Stillbirth Facts

Let's Improve Birth Outcomes

Research shows some groups of expectant parents are more likely to experience stillbirth. We have an intentional focus to reduce the differences in health outcomes affecting those communities most at risk of enduring a stillbirth.

STILLBIRTH IN THE U.S.

One out of every 185 pregnancies in the U.S. ends in stillbirth.

USA Map

Research shows at least 1 in 4 stillbirths can be prevented. Our goal is to expand Count the Kicks education to prevent stillbirths in all 50 states.

TESTIMONIALS

Dana and her daughter Nahla

"Definitely pay attention to Count the Kicks. Had I not, Nahla wouldn’t be here. Don’t second guess yourself. Don’t feel bad or stupid, don’t worry about insurance or the emergency room bill, go check on your baby because your baby might not be here."
