At 29 weeks pregnant I knew in my gut something wasn’t right.

I ate, drank and sat still to do my kick counts. It had been too long since I had last felt movement.

When I noticed there was still nothing, I went to the emergency room.

Due to fetal distress, an emergency C-section was quickly performed and our 2 lb. 13 oz. miracle had been born.

Our doctor looked right at me and said, “If you hadn’t been counting your kicks and had waited even another few hours, I truly believe your baby would have been stillborn.”
